We are pleased to say that earlier in 2023 Mike Brown joined the Board of Trustees of Boomerang Community Centre, SCI0, Scottish Charity SC047467. The Centre, in Kemback Street(off Arbroath Road) Dundee, DD4 6ET was established in 2017 and the Centre’s vision is to create a safe and welcoming environment within the Centre where people from across the community can be supported and inspired to grow and develop. The focus is about improving the lives of people in the Maryfield and the Stobswell area by delivering community services based on the needs of the local residents practically.
As a firm we are happy to be able to support and financially contribute towards this excellent Community Centre, which also provides a food larder.
Our firm also supports Dundee and Angus Foodbank in Albert Street. In 2021 they were able to assist 14,000 people perishable and non perishable food, toiletries and other essential items. They are currently feeding over 200 persons per week.
Donations enable them to continue to address this growing need to ensure that no-one or no family in Dundee or Angus goes hungry.
